i wanna know
1.whatz the difference between apache webserver and tomcat.

2.how can tomcat alone work as a webserver as well as servlet container?

1. Apache Web server is a HTTP Server which can accepts request and serve a response whereas apache tomcat also has a servlet container or servlet engine(implementation of Servlet API) which provides run time environment for Servlets and JSP's.

I have One xml Docment By using that Document i have to generate the equivalent HTML code .. waiting for reply please .. have a look over .. it
